  • Do you guarantee your work?

Yes. Brady's Waterproofing & Concrete stands behind a lifetime transferable guarantee. It is transferable from owner to owner. The guarantee is stated directly on the paperwork that is given at the time of the estimate.

  • How much experience do you have waterproofing basements?

I am approaching 20 years of experience working in the basement waterproofing industry. I've fixed thousands of water seepage problems throughout the entire Greater Rockford area over the years, both residential and commercial. Repairs range from your basic foundation cracks, to more involved, exterior excavation and water diversion landscaping projects. I have successfully installed hundreds of egress windows, with zero callbacks or malfunctions on my work. My success rate on my waterproofing repair work is very high, because of my work ethic and commitment to providing a finished product that not only lasts a lifetime, but is something I can take pride in and my customers can trust.

  • What sets your company apart from the competition, and what makes your services different from the rest?

Brady's Waterproofing & Concrete is a small family owned and operated business. The staff here are family, and we are striving to make our mark in the waterproofing industry.

At Brady's Waterproofing & Concrete, we take extra measures to unsure the customer's experience is as good as it can be. We take extra time to set proper containment up and dust control, and we take extra time to do proper clean up once the repairs are completed.

Our goals include providing a repair that will last a lifetime, so no shortcuts. We stand behind our work 100%. Our second goal is that the homeowner should not know we were there once we are finished, meaning, no mess. Combine those two goals with excellent customer service and communication throughout any project, and that is what makes us stand out from the other companies in the market.

  • Do cracks in the foundation walls have to be excavated and repaired from the outside?

Most cracks can be repaired from the interior of the home, at a fraction of the cost any outside repair would be. In some cases, the crack may not be accessed from the interior, in which an outside repair would then be necessary. But the vast majority of our repairs are done from inside of the home.

  • Is exterior drain tile around the perimeter of the home sufficient enough?

In some cases, yes. In others, no. Each situation is unique and it depends on many factors. In most cases, if the exterior tile is installed properly, it will prevent hydrostatic pressure from building up beneath your basement floor.

In some cases, the exterior tile may have been damaged during the backfill process, or eventually clogged with dirt or mud, causing a backup, which builds beneath the floor. In that case, you would then need to consider installing an interior draintile system in combination with the exterior system, to help alleviate the pressure and redirect it back to the sump basin.

  • My basement is finished, do I need to remove all the wall and flooring in order to waterproof the basement?

No. Most areas of seepage can be targeted and repaired without having to remove all of the drywall, paneling and flooring. We do our best to be as least invasive as we can while performing our repair work, and we take our time setting up proper containment to protect your other belongings from dust or debris.

  • Can basement waterproofing be done during the winter?

Yes. We can perform the majority of our waterproofing services year-round. Most of our repair work is done from the inside, therefore making our work possible to perform through the winter.
